There is a key problem with the English Translations that causes much subtle subconscious confusion when going between the Old & New Testaments (OT & NT). This is simple, but profound! Many are called Lord in the scripture, but there is One LORD GOD EL Shadday and His appointed Lord Adoni(y) (Psalm 110:1). An there are key distinctions between YaHoWaH (father) and YaHoWshuaH (son). Both are lord(s), but distinctly of a different nature. This is a basic understanding of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God narrative. Jude (Yahudah) states this directly in verse 4, as do many other writers in the accepted canon.
In the Old Testament the English translations have THE NAME of THE FATHER always printed as LORD. The word YHWH (transliterated) is not the word LORD. LORD is a title, not the holy name of our Holy Father. This is simple, and there is no argument against this reality.
There is also an additional issue with the Sopherim Emendations, where YHWH is changed to Adonai(y). This will be expanded upon as we progress. Our key verse for reference is on this issue is Psalm 110:5 where YHWH was changed to Adonay, because seemingly they couldn’t reconcile verse 1 with verse 5, but reconciling isn’t so hard if one interprets on the basis that the “right hand” represents the place of supreme power—the strong arm for most people. In Psalm 110:1, the adoni that is Jesus is seated at the “right hand” of the Father. Whereas in verse 5 the Father is at the “right hand” of the adoni from verse 1 because this is how unity and fellowship with the Father’s Holy Spirit works; God’s Messiah (his Christ) is in God the Father and God the Father is in his Messiah.
So the modern Old Testament English style is to replace the sacred name of the father with a title, and then to denote it with ALL CAPS = LORD.
So how do we handle this so we can increase our understanding of the scripture? First it’s important to make sure we don’t allow the misunderstanding of the proper pronunciation of THE NAME prevent us from understanding the main problem here. Dividing over the pronunciation Jehovah Yahweh Yihweh Yehwah Yahuah Yahowah should be avoided in the pursuit to understand “What is God’s name?”. The main point is printing LORD actually works to prevent you from knowing “A” NAME. Every time you read LORD your mind is massaged to think LORD. Most English Bible readers have a LORD-groove formed in their brain, and All-American Christians have the word LORD hammer-carved into their head by the massive constant repetition of the word lord. Sometimes referring to Jesus (Yahowshuah) as lord, and sometimes referring to The Father as lord, without any clear distinction…lord lord lord lord.
Having his name printed as YHWH would be much more useful than LORD, even if nobody understood what it meant. As a side note, YHWH is often referred to as the tetragrammaton, but this is gnostic-iysh terminology from c 1400. This is just another distraction from what was originally printed. In the placeholder image you will see a bit of an ancient historical progression of “his name” as it was written (see photo above).
The word Lord “in English” appears some 7,313 x (or so) in the OT which 6,519-ish times printed as LORD, which is his holy name YHWH subverted. The other 794 times the word lord is printed in English, the lower-case with the first letter capitalized, “Lord” is used for multiple different entities, ranging from Abraham, to angels, to King David, and sometimes also referring to the Holy Father, but still using the word without all caps—the littler Lord. The exception with the littler lord being used in to express the Holy Father of the scripture as the littler lord is that another word is used together to denote that the littler lord is actually the BIG LORD. This is lord Confusion!
Now when you go to the New Testament, the English word Lord is used to refer mostly to the Son of God (Jesus), and sometimes Father God. When Lord appears in relationship to The Father, there is usually always another word in place to denote that The Father is clearly being referenced: kyrios (lord) theos (god), or kyrios (lord) pater (father). The Father is distinguished by another word alongside kyrios, but not always. Jesus refers to The Father as lord (but usually with the word god or father added), but Jesus also refers to the owner of a vineyard or a house as lord (kyrios) in his parables, but without the extra-identifier. The point is in English the word lord is used a lot, but depending on the word that’s used and the context the lord in each case must be carefully identified.
We Need to Get our lords Straight
There are many examples of lord-use, and the few illustrations below** are provided just to get you thinking about the use and “misuse” of the term l-o-r-d “IN ENGLISH”. This is an English issue, and not a proper reflection of the text. In other words, pointing out the errors in English translations does not mean the scripture is fallible or errant. A writer is responsible for what is written in the language they wrote. If someone inaccurately translates the writing, misunderstanding can rapidly progress as a direct result of mistranslating the “intent” of the writer.
In the case of this “lord business”, there is literally “sin” committed by the scholars in the English Translations. Sin is any transgression of the law(anomia/anomos 1 John 3.4), and the Torah of YHWH Elohim is all recorded in the Name of YHWH, so changing his name to lord is not Man’s prerogative, and results with consequences of sin. While calling Father God “LORD” is not a sin, purposefully hiding his name is definitely a sin that YHWH Elohim is against. Think about it! Halalyah Yahowah (YaHuWaH) Elohim!
HIS NAME YHWH is tied directly to the law. You can see this in verses like Exodus 20.7, Deuteronomy 5.11, and Deuteronomy 28.58: Fear His Holy Name.
If you look at anomia and anomos in 1 John 3.4, you should quickly realize that what is translated as “transgression of the law” is more simply “without law” anomia: what is nomos vs anomos vs en-nomos (law, without law, in law 1 Corinthians 9.21). Bottom Line: The Logos (words) Matter. Also see Galatians 3.23 to understand that you are “Under the Law” before Faith!
Then you should easily see what King James mistranslated in 1 Cor. 9.21. Romans 2.12-13 then vindicates this claim: Believers are to be “in-law” to Christ. This is just another example of how THE TRANSLATORS have CHANGED the meaning of the writer’s intent.
**Old Testament Examples: In Deuteronomy 10.17 and Joshua 3:13 you will see intermingling of the words LORD/Lord. YHWH Adown means a lot more than LORD Lord (with nasa appearing in both as a side note; see original text).
**New Testament Examples: If you look at Matthew 22.44 you will see kyrios appears twice in one verse, where in one instance it is printed as LORD (kyrios for YHWH/YaHoWaH), and in another instance it is printed as Lord (kyrios for Jesus/YaHoWshuaH). The same English word applied (to the Greek), but this is not the same entity. The same thing appears in Psalms 110.1, but there is printed LORD for YHWH and printed Lord-la adoni (l·adn·i), thus replacing the Hebrew word before translating it in both cases; YHWH is replaced with adonai and then translated to LORD, and adoni is replaced with adonai and then replaced with Lord, instead of a lower case lord for la adoni (very sneaky). See also Luke 20.42 and Acts 2:34. A varying example of this can be found in Matthew 10.24-25 where Jesus is using lord-servant-disciple-master in an exhortation concerning Ba`al Zĕbuwb. The other key item you must know in order to unwind this LORD CONFUSION is the translators are not consistent with this. You have to truly know the context in order to know if any lord reference is referring to Father God YHWH, or the Lord Jesus Christ, or a false god, or a reference to a master and so forth.
So what’s in a name? And what’s in a Title?
The main focus here is THE NAME in relationship to The Law of YHWH. What does it really mean to take the LORD’s name in vain (emptiness)? One answer is to change the name to a title. In truth, the scholars have emptied YHWH’s name of any meaning, and now everyone speaks with Titles. In the context of what all a name entails, this constant operation of faith speaking in Titles heavily detours from the purpose for which scripture was written.
It would be like someone taking your identification and changing it from YOUR NAME to MISTER; Your Name is now been legally changed to MISTER. You will no longer be Your Name. You will be MR MISTER. It’s demeaning!
It’s similar to referring to God as “the man upstairs”, because God is not a man, nor the son of man (Numbers 23.19, 1 Samuel 15.29).
YHWH is not the author of this confusion! The author of LORD Confusion is King Jimmy (properly James)!
Here is an easy way to see this. Go to your favorite bible software and search “lord god” In the Old Testament and you will find about 1474 return verses to look at, of which some 1149-ish verses are יְהֹוָה Yahowah (proper noun of supreme deity) אֱלֹהִים Elohiym (noun) in this exact order Yahowah Elohiym.
Now do the same “lord god” search in the New Testament. You will get 121 x verses (or so) that will clearly show you in short order that the Lord God (kyrios theos) is The Father. If you read them all you will not find a single reference to Jesus also being this one that is called Lord God. Jesus is referred to as Lord or Lord Christ (kyrios christos). Of course, arguments will always ensue over the “one verse” someone comes up with to challenge the master narrative. So we will have to park this argument here on the basis that the overwhelming majority of the text uses Lord God in reference to YHWH in the Old and New Testaments of which there is no good argument to support any other conclusion. Of course there is always going to be a verse or two that causes confusion, and we need to learn to see that using an isolated verse here and there is not the key to understanding proper lordships and the source and distribution of glory, or any major theme in the text.
If you do an exhaustive study of all the verses using these words, you will eventually understand that The Father can be Lord as Lord God (in the English), and Jesus Christ is Lord (but not Lord God; only lord christ), making The Father Supreme LORD GOD. Thus it is sufficient to say that Christianity is full of false idols, like the Trinity (or the Twinity); the Trinitarian logic breaks down quickly under the weight of the scripture, i.e. the majority of the text defies the logic of a few misused verses.
The Words in Bold at Each Heading are the Key Search Words
Lord God: Luke 1:32, Luke 1:68, 1 Peter 3:15, Jude 1:4, Revelation 4:8, Revelation 11:17, Revelation 15:3, Revelation 16:7, Revelation 18:8, Revelation 19:6, Revelation 21:22, Revelation 22:5, Revelation 22:6
Lord thy God (lord your god): Matthew 4:7, Matthew 4:10, Matthew 22:37, Mark 12:30, Luke 4:8, Luke 4:12, Luke 10:27
Jesus tells us this constantly in context by always referring to The Father’s words and The Father’s will. John 5.30 “I can of my own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which has sent me.
Son of the Living God: Matthew 16:16, John 6:69, Matthew 26:63
Christ Son of God: Matthew 16:16, Matthew 26:63, Mark 1:1, Luke 4:41, John 6:69, John 11:27, John 20:31, Acts 8:37, Acts 9:20, 1 Corinthians 1:9, 2 Corinthians 1:19, Galatians 2:20, Galatians 4:7, Ephesians 4:13, 1 John 5:20, 2 John 1:3, 2 John 1:9
Now Here is overwhelming Evidence of the Distinction Made between Father and Son
God the Father and Lord: Luke 1:32, Romans 1:7, Romans 15:6, 1 Corinthians 1:3, 1 Corinthians 8:6, 2 Corinthians 1:2, 2 Corinthians 1:3, 2 Corinthians 11:31, Galatians 1:3, Ephesians 1:2, Ephesians 1:3, Ephesians 1:17, Ephesians 5:20, Ephesians 6:23, Philippians 1:2, Philippians 2:11, Colossians 1:2, Colossians 1:3, Colossians 3:17, 1 Thessalonians 1:1, 1 Thessalonians 1:3, 2 Thessalonians 1:1, 2 Thessalonians 1:2, 1 Timothy 1:2, 2 Timothy 1:2, Titus 1:4, Philemon 1:3, 1 Peter 1:3, 2 John 1:3
Who is Who Matters!
There is not a single phrase in all Scripture for an exact match to God the Son, but there are 47 exact matches to “Son of God”. Does the order matter?
God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ: Romans 1:7, Romans 15:6, 2 Corinthians 1:3, 2 Corinthians 11:31, Ephesians 1:3, Ephesians 1:17, Ephesians 5:20, Colossians 1:3, 1 Thessalonians 1:1, 1 Thessalonians 1:3, 1 Thessalonians 3:13, 2 Thessalonians 1:1, 1 Peter 1:3 [1 Chronicles 29.10: God the Father of our Lord]
Jesus Says it Plainly in John 10.36
Say you of him, whom the Father has sanctified, and sent into the world, You blaspheme; because I said, I am the Son of God? And the Chief Priests said the same when they mocked him in Matthew 27.43.
It’s Pretty Clear What the Accusation of Blasphemy is!
But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure you by the living God, that you tell us whether you be the Christ, the Son of God. Jesus says to him, You have said: nevertheless I say to you, hereafter shall you see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. [again Psalm 110.1 appears, and coming out of Jesus’ mouth]. Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He has spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now you have heard his blasphemy. What think you? They answered and said, He is guilty of death. Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands, Saying, Prophesy to us, you Christ, Who is he that smote you? (Matthew 26.62-68). One note you should consider is the Pastors and Scholars and Teachers will immediately start using Daniel 7.13 and proclaim that this Son of Man is not really a Son of Man, but rather God. This is a ridiculously shallow argument which we will see shortly how Shallow Hal this is. You may also hear them run to Daniel 3.25 for a defense that the Son of God is yet another appearance of Jesus in the Old Testament, but this too is eisegesis with no basis to back it up. See the Nature of Christ Page on this Website and the use of the phrase Son of Man for more detail on this issue (also in the Holy Spirit Confusion section below.
Making the Scripture Say Something it Doesn’t Say is Witchcraft
Wading through Lord Confusion with the Spirit of Truth
When you are trying to wade through this Lord Confusion, you also might want to consider the consistency that is spoken of by YHWH throughout the Whole Testament (Supreme Holy Spirit WT). By contrast, even though Jesus was totally unified with the Father (as one), consider the inward to upward progress he makes from birth to resurrection. This is Highly Essential to understand “the timing” as to which specific references are made to Jesus Christ, as there are references after his resurrection, and after his ascension, that are NOT made of him prior to these events, in like manner. Highly consider in this light John 1.18!
Wrap Your Head Around the Parakletos
Before his crucifixion, when Jesus is talking to his disciples, he prays the “Father will give another Comforter” (implying there is a current comforter) John 14.16. Then in John 14.26 Jesus says this Comforter (parakletos) is the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send. Then in John 15.26 Jesus says he will send this Comforter from the Father. The progression continues as Jesus states in John 16.7 that he has to go away so that after he has gone away, he (Jesus) can send the Comforter (parakletos).
And then finally in 1 John 2.1 Jesus is called the Comforter by John:
“My little children, these things I write to you, that you sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocatea comforter (parakletos) with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation (atonement) for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”
How convenient to change the English, making it hard for to see that Jesus is the parakletos; “another” comforter which is also referenced as a holy spirit. Me thinks praytell a game is afoot as King Jimmy (and all other translators) plays Word Magic (Magick) with the parakletos. This is a specific term that only John uses. Are we to believe that John suddenly meant something different by “the parakletos” in his gospel vs. his epistle?
John writes that Jesus exclusively used this term 4 times in John 14, 15, and 16 just before his crucifixion. Then John chooses to call Jesus this parakletos in 1 John 2.1. This is more than a clue. Either John is confused, or Jesus is the parakletos after his ascension; namely the other Holy Spirit Comforter concerning the Spirit of Truth: John 14.17, John 15.26, John 16.13, and 1 John 4.6.
No More Lord Confusion
John 14.3: I will come again (says Jesus)
John 14.18: I will come to you (says Jesus)
John 14.23: We will come [Father and Jesus (says Jesus)]
We need to consider that Father-God is a Spirit (John 4.24), and a Holy Father (John 17.11), who is also Holy Spirit (Psalms 51.11) who gives the Holy Spirit (Luke 11.13), the Father giving his Holy Spirit to Jesus (Matthew 1.18, John 1.32-33, John 3.35, Matthew 3.16, Mark 1.10, Luke 9.35) and at an appointed time gave the power to Jesus Christ to pass on the Holy Spirit (John 20.21-22), because Jesus the ONLY Ascended Lord-Messiah is now also totally connected in operation with the Holy Spirit (1 John 2.1, John 14.26), who operates with full power and authority, subject now only to the Father, while all else is subject to Christ (Matthew 11.27, Matt. 28.18-20), by ONE SPIRIT which is Holy (Ephesians 4); This is “The Way”.
Here is Another Example of ENGLISH Manipulation
King Jimmy Word Magick; Translating the Same Words a Different Way!
4x Holy Spirit KJV: Hagios Pneuma
Luke 11:13, Ephesians 1:13, 4:30, 1 Thessalonians 4:8
89x Holy Ghost KJV: Hagios Pneuma
Whereas all translations following King James including the New King James all translate every verse as Holy Spirit, no longer using the word Ghost.
And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness Luke 4.1. Is this the same Spirit or a different Ghost? Why did King Jimmy and crew translate the word pneuma as ghost and spirit in the same sentence?
When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, will you at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in his own power. But you shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost Spirit is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:6-8.
But you shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost Spirit is come upon you!
The above phrase is similar in language to how Jesus was conceived.
(Luke 1:35) And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow you: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of you shall be called the Son of God.
Think in Terms of Jesus Paying it Forward from
Our Father by His Spirit if You Follow in “The Way”
To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne (Revelation 3.21).
With so much overwhelming clarifying distinction concerning Father and Son, and with no (to low) clarifying distinction concerning the Holy Spirit as a separate being, maybe we better consider that our God, and Jesus Christ’s God, the Father is the Holy Spirit, and so also now is the Resurrected Jesus Christ the One Mediator of the Holy Spirit who ministers to us by the Holy Spirit, as it was the will of The Father all along.
Oh YHWH Elohim, I Pray, “Stop the Lord Confusion in Jesus Name”
How Many Holy Spirits Are There?
Sometimes things can be a little disturbing inside modern Christianity. There are many group and they often don’t agree on much at all. If you don’t know it yet, the scholars argue about a lot, including their chief doctrines. With just a little research you can easily determine that there are “many spirits” floating around that are not the Holy Spirit. So how do you know what the right spirit is? Passages like Ephesians 4 makes it plain and simple: ONE SPIRIT.
It’s baffling how much arguing there is over the nature of god amongst God’s people, and the demand of every Christian to bow to the “Chief Doctrine” or be labeled as having a bad spirit. Some even dare to say if you don’t believe in their doctrine you aren’t saved, yet there are multiple versions! Who cares if the doctrine is a “Tradition of Men”?
Have you ever seen a Christian dismiss someone for having trouble understanding the Trinity Doctrine? Yet the usual mandated belief in the Trinity is not in John 3.16-18. You must believe in the Son of God whom the Father gave.
Think about this: The Trinity Doctrine (three separate person theory) isn’t in a single salutation of the New Testament. Paul never addressed the Trinity in his opening statements! And not one of them addressed the Holy Spirit in their greetings, except Acts, which we address shortly.
Even John 1.1 can’t be twisted so far as to include the Holy Spirit, so where exactly was this so-called extra person in the beginning? According to the mainstream interpretation there are only two entities in John 1.1; two gods being God and God’s Word being the second god. Where is the third god? This is a bizarre thing in Christianity, for in one moment Pastors proclaim someone else not to have right the spirit of understanding, while they themselves teach that the Trinity is a Mystery. By which spirit does the mainstream interpret that the Holy Spirit is Jesus’ Father, but it not Father God? Did you know that Luke references God 60 times in Luke chapter one alone without ever once using the word Father? Jesus is called the Hagios Gennao of the Holy Spirit Most High: Luke 1.35.
And Matthew, in verse 18, uses the word gennēsis concerning the birth of Jesus. Who gennēsis Jesus? Given that Jesus is the Son of God, then God would have to have gennēsis Jesus, and both Luke and Matthew call this God the Holy Spirit.
So let’s put what we can into perspective and take a shot at seeing if we can figure out what’s wrong. And while we seek, remember that we are trying to unravel World History and centuries of delusion, so this could be a little difficult to grasp. Just try to see through all the deception and that dark glass tradition has created by first understanding that deception was forecast all over the Bible.
Where is He that put His Holy Spirit within them?
Think about this carefully: The exact term Holy Spirit only shows up in the “Old Testament” three times: Once in David’s Psalm 51, written to Elohim/Adonay, following his sins with Bathsheba. Christians know the verse well because they even have a song they sing that comes from the passage: Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence; and take not your holy spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of your salvation; and uphold me with your free (generous) spirit.
Who is David Psalming to? Uhhhh...Father God YHWH Elohim!
The other two Holy Spirit phrases in the “Old Testament” appear in Isaiah 63. But we have to understand this only refers to the exact phrase “holy spirit”; the use of these two words together: Qodesh Ruwach. In other cases terms like the Spirit of God (Genesis 1.2) or My Spirit (Genesis 6.3) or the Spirit of YHWH (1 Samuel 10.6) are used in like reference, that is the Holy Spirit.
Isaiah 63 V10 But they rebelled, and vexed his* holy Spirit: therefore he* was turned to be their enemy, and he* fought against them. Isaiah 63 V11 Then he* remembered the days of old, Moses, and his* people, saying, Where is he* that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he* that put his* holy Spirit within him? [*make note of the singular personal pronouns]
That’s a great question: Where is He and Who is He?
Isaiah 63 V14 tells us, "the Spirit of the LORD-YHWH (יְהֹוָה Yahowah)". Where is he that put his holy spirit within them, and who is he who put his holy spirit within him?
YHWH is the Holy One Most High Spirit!
Isaiah 63 V15 tells us, "Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory…"
Isaiah 63 V16 tells us, "Doubtless you are our father…O YHWH, our father, our redeemer; your name is from everlasting".
Isaiah 64 V8 tells us "YHWH, you are our father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; and we all are the work of your hand".
So How Many Fathers Does Jesus Have? Matthew 1.18; Luke 1.35
To understand the reason for the question “How many Fathers does Jesus have?” we need to understand something I call Word Magic (Magick). Although profound, Word Magick is a really simple concept. All someone has to do is repeat something over and over again, and eventually it will be stuck in your brain, whether you want it there or not. This is the first part of the incantation known as the repetition. A spell is spoken, or sung. And even an outright lie repeated often enough becomes the truth for those that hear it. Perception then becomes an alternate reality even though the chant is a false paradigm.
If the words are mixed with some truth then a little leaven leavens the whole lump. Think in like terms of Orwellian turning bad to ungood in 1984. By changing one word or definition, the whole meaning is subject to change. What’s worse in your mind: Bad or ungood?
In the case of some doctrine within Christianity, it’s more like a little lump in the big pile of leaven sometimes. We have maximum leaven-er-age in some cases.
So what’s the return on investment when you have too much leaven-er-age? Well if you knead an answer to that? Look no further than the upper crust gone a-rye. You’re toast if you go against the grain of mainstream doctrine, even if their mantras crumble under the weight of scripture. Sorry for all the loafing around. Let’s get back to baking the truth.
Let’s take a quick look at unnecessary word play!
We can exhort many points of this word manipulation (in the English) by King James 1611, but for the point of this insight, we will focus on the term(s) Holy Spirit vs. Holy Ghost. I submit that this is intended confusion, meaning they sewed confusion on purpose. The evidence shows something is awry.
Why? Because there is No Good Reason to translate the words Hagios Pneuma as Holy Ghost in one verse and Holy Spirit in another, e.g. Luke 1.35 vs. Luke 11.13.
This would only seem mysterious if one did not consider King James Freemasonic nature. However, if you understand who he was, and his role in increasing the confusion by making slight unnecessary adjustments in the (English) text, then King James’ Adjustments become simple evidence of the greater evil at play; confusion has been sown on purpose! Maybe the demons did it? But sometimes his crew translates neither with rhyme nor reason. If you only get one thing from this, understand word confusion is what’s amiss. Also, the Geneva translators were in on it too, but with variations. It’s just strange, and given there is a word for ghost in the Bible (Acts 5.5, 10), it makes the excuse that “ghost” is a good word for God’s Spirit in the 1500s and 1600s a very lame excuse.
This may be a little too much for most, but tough-truth isn’t for loafers. Judas betrayed Jesus for a little dough, so what makes you think King James couldn’t have been an original *Sloppy Joe?
*loose sweater (definitions matter; see alternate for Sloppy Joe)
How many fathers does Jesus have?
And who and/or what is the Holy Spirit?
Jesus Fathered by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1.18)
Jesus is Son of the Holy Spirit (Luke 1.30-35)
Jesus Says God the Father is a Spirit (John 4.23-26)
The Eternal Spirit (Hebrews 9.14)
There is One Spirit (Ephesians 4.3-5)
The One Spirit is the Selfsame Spirit of God (1 Corinthians 12.1-14)
Jesus Addresses God as Holy Father in Prayer (John 17.11)
But we are somehow to believe that
the Holy Spirit is NOT the Father?
Jesus Offered Himself without Spot through the Eternal Spirit to heis (one) theos (god) (Matthew 19.17, Mark 10.18, Luke 18.19; John 17.3 the mono alethinos theos) the Living God (Hebrews 9.14).
Some people argue as if Holy Spirit is only a power, while others argue the Holy Spirit is only an entity/being. Both are the answer. When an exhaustive word study on spirit/holy spirit is done honestly, then one can more clearly see how the Holy Spirit is an entity that also shares his Holy Spirit with others. This is true even to the point where no man can even breath without the breath of the Holy Spirit of our Father; beginning from creation.
Do You think there is a Spirit that is more Holy than the Most-High Spirit of our Holy Father God?
God the Father is King Eternal Immortal Invisible Wise God which Jesus showed us for a path unto life everlasting. (I Timothy 1.17) Jesus is the Last Days Voice of God (Hebrews 1.2) Jesus is the Express Image of God’s character under God (Hebrews 1.3) and Jesus is the Image of the Invisible God which is dependent upon his resurrection (Colossians 1.15, the eikōn, 2 Corinthians 4.4).
Jesus is the Appearance of God in the flesh as the Form of a Servant (Phil 2.6-7). It is the Father that makes Jesus the King of Kings in the Kingdom of God.
We are also somehow supposed to believe that the Father and the Son are Co-Equals?
JESUS WORDS: Father is Greater than All (John 10.29) Father is Greater than Jesus (John 14.28). Then in John 10.30 Jesus proclaims “the unity”; like 1 John 1.3; 2 Corinthians 13.14.
And this is life eternal, that they might know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent (John 17.3) Is Jesus forgetting the Holy Spirit? Did Jesus forget that he is God too?
For I have given unto them the words which you gave me; and they have received [them], and have known surely that I came out from you, and they have believed that you did send me (John 17:8).
When did Jesus come out of God? (Luke 1.35, Matthew 1.18-20)
And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (John 14:13)
Jesus is in the bosom/heart of the Father (John 1:14, 18).
The Holy Divine Spirit of the Father dwells in Jesus Christ’s Temple/Tabernacle Body
Jesus came out of the Father, at birth, and the Holy Father Spirit came into the world (John 1.9-11) and dwelt in Jesus, all his life, who was the living temple that didn’t sin, a man totally filled up with the Spirit of God (John 3:34).
The Son can do nothing of himself; Father God who has life in Himself gives Jesus life to have in himself (John 5.15-32 vs 26); Jesus does nothing of himself, but only the will of the Father who Sent Jesus (John 5:30).
Jesus is the head of the church and the new creation BECAUSE of his obedience unto death and then the resurrection.
This is the CONTEXT of firstborn in the Colossians 1 passage:
Jesus the First Born from the Dead
THE BEGINNINGof the New Creation
Jesus is the Firstborn of “Every” Creature
The Highlighted list is the Result of Jesus being the Firstborn from the dead.
(Colossians 1:15) Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: (v16) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: (v17) And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. (v18) And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things]he might have the preeminence. (v19) For it pleased [the Father] that in him should all fullness dwell; (v20) And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him (Jesus) to reconcile all things unto himself (God the Father); by him, [I say], whether [they be] things in earth, or things in heaven.
Here is a wee More Word Magick if You Still Be Thinking King Jimmy Always Played Straight!
Three Different Words in the Greek Translated to the Same Word in the English?
Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. G2304 theîos, from G2316; godlike (neuter as noun, divinity):—divine, godhead (Acts 17:29).
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: G2305 theiótēs from G2304; divinity(abstractly):—godhead (Romans 1:20).
For in him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. G2320 theótēs, theh-ot'-ace; from G2316; divinity (abstractly):—godhead (Colossians 2:9 KJV).
Word Magick, Me-thinks, Pray-tell, Sire, “Doth the Fink Stink of Mire?” i inquire mr. puntificate!
In One Case King James Translates the Same Words in the Greek as Two Different Words in the English. In Another Case Kingly James-Charles Translates Three Different Greek Words into the Same English Word.
The Sire even put Elohiym’s name in the mire by covering it with a title for hire. Oh LORD confusion יְהֹוָה. At least King James capitalized LORD, unlike the Geneva translation that typeset YHWH as Lord.
Let’s Take One Last Run Together Along the Word-Magick Trail
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter (parakletos), that he may abide with you forever; (John 14.16 KJV). Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeshim not, neither knows him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you(John 14.17 KJV). I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you (John 14.18).
Judas said to him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself unto us, and not unto the world? (John 14:22)
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come (koinonia en hagios pneuma me thinks?) unto him, and make our abode with him (John 14:23 KJV). Compare 2 Corinthians 13.14 with 1 John 1.3 (unity is in the Holy Spirit of the Father).
There is no other way, and the way to the father is by and through Jesus Christ,
But the Comforter (parakletos), which is the Holy Ghost Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you (John 14:26).
Are there 4 Gods Now? Or are Christ’s disciples like living tabernacles too?
But when the Comforter (parakletos) is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceeds from the Father, he shall testify of me (John 15:26).
Nevertheless, I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter(parakletos) will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you (John 16.7).
My little children, these things write I unto you, that you sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate Comforter(parakletos) with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:1).
Wait, So Now Jesus is the (parakletos)? So Who is the Holy Spirit?
The Father is the Holy Spirit who has a Holy Spirit & Jesus Christ is the mediator of the Holy Spirit (has the robe of the Holy Spirit), because of Father, who gives His Spirit to Jesus without measure (John 3.34-35).
There is no need to add a 3rd person on these two simple accounts:
1. God is not a person because God is a Spirit
2. God the Holy Father is the Holy Spirit
The Spirit is upon him and in him when he walks in the spirit (John saw it, disciples saw it). Can you see it?
Jesus breathed the holy spirit (after the resurrection) just like the Father did in Genesis, only here is the New Creation coming through Christ to give power, giving the Holy Spirit to everyone whereas in the Old Testament it seems as though the Holy Spirit was only given to God’s prophets (Numbers 11.29, 1 Samuel 10.10, 1 Samuel 19.20, Hebrews 1.1-2, Ephesians 3:5, Acts 1.2).
Jesus is clothed in Holy Spirit (Revelation 21.23), like Joseph’s Multi-Colored Robe (Genesis 37.3) which was a type, or like Moses’ face which was also a type (Exodus 34.29, 2 Corinthians 4.6).
You will want to notice also in Ephesians 4.30 that King Jimmy Magicked things up again by capitalizing Spirit but not capitalizing holy, even though King James always capitalizes holy when combined with ghost; Holy Ghost vs. holy Spirit.
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealedunto the day of redemption (Ephesians 4.30). Why would King James do this? I can only imagine to cover up who is doing the sealing?
Jesus Said: Labor not for the meat which perishes, but for that meat which endures unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him has God the Father sealed (John 6.27).
God the Father Puts His Spirit Upon those He Chooses
Isaiah 11.1-2, Isaiah 42.1, Isaiah 59.21, Isaiah 61.1, Numbers 11.25-26, Matthew 3.16, John 1.32-33, John 3.34, Acts 10.38
And in Jesus, the Father did so without measure John 3.34 ß That’s an important verse there which is why I keep quoting it.
Doesn’t this Say (the Father) God is the Holy Spirit?
Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost Spirit (1 Corinthians 12.3)...diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit(1 Corinthians 12.4).
And on what plane does the Holy God, who is a Spirit, possess most the most holy within? That’s nonsense, because YHWH is holy and no one else is holy like him, and Jesus Christ was the Only Begotten Son of God walked in the holiness according to the will of the Father’s Holy Spirit.
And Jesus said unto him, why do you call me good? there is none good but one, that is God (Mark 10.18). According to Christianity, Jesus didn’t really mean it.
Maybe we need to consider that Father‐God is a Spirit (John 4.24), and a Holy Father (John 17.11), who is also Holy Spirit (Psalms 51.11) who gives the Holy Spirit (Luke 11.13), the Father giving his Holy Spirit to Jesus (Matthew 1.18, John 1.32‐33, Matthew 3.16, Mark 1.10, Luke 9.35) without measure (John 3.34) and at an appointed time gave the power to Jesus Christ to pass on the Holy Spirit (John 20.21‐22), because Jesus the Ascended Messiah (Lord) is now also the Director of Holy Spirit Operations as an administrator of the eternal Holy Spirit (1 John 2.1, Psalm 110.1), because he was Firstborn (Acts 13.33, Psalm 2.7) who operates with full power and authority, subject only to the Father, while all else is subject to Christ (Matthew 11.27, Matt. 28.18‐20), by ONE SPIRIT which is Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4), Jesus Christ the Righteous (1 John 2.1) who is the Last Adam and the Second Man that is the Life-Giving Spirit (1 Corinthians 15.45)…or Worship the Trinity by continuing to adulterate the Word of God in Idolatry!
Maybe G_d Lied?
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good (Numbers 23.19)?
And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he [is] not a man, that he should repent (1 Samuel 15:29).
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, that you might be justified in your sayings, and might overcome when you are judged (Romans 3.4).
Q: How many times did Jesus say he was the Son of man?
A: 78 Times Jesus referred to himself as the Son of Man, 6 Times Someone Else Uses the Term, but Still References Jesus
Matthew 8:20, Matthew 9:6, Matthew 10:23, Matthew 11:19, Matthew 12:8, Matthew 12:32, Matthew 12:40, Matthew 13:37, Matthew 13:41, Matthew 16:13, Matthew 16:27, Matthew 16:28, Matthew 17:9, Matthew 17:12, Matthew 17:22, Matthew 18:11, Matthew 19:28, Matthew 20:18, Matthew 20:28, Matthew 24:27, Matthew 24:30, Matthew 24:37, Matthew 24:39, Matthew 24:44, Matthew 25:13, Matthew 25:31, Matthew 26:2, Matthew 26:24, Matthew 26:45, Matthew 26:64, Mark 2:10, Mark 2:28, Mark 8:31 (someone else said but still quoting Jesus), Mark 8:38 Key Verse, Mark 9:9 (someone else said but still quoting Jesus), Mark 9:12, Mark 9:31, Mark 10:33, Mark 10:45, Mark 13:26, Mark 13:34, Mark 14:21, Mark 14:41, Mark 14:62, Luke 5:24, Luke 6:5, Luke 7:34, Luke 9:22, Luke 9:26, Luke 9:44, Luke 9:56, Luke 9:58, Luke 11:30, Luke 12:8, Luke 12:10, Luke 12:40, Luke 17:22, Luke 17:24, Luke 17:26, Luke 17:30, Luke 18:8, Luke 18:31, Luke 19:10, Luke 21:27, Luke 21:36, Luke 22:22, Luke 22:48, Luke 22:69, Luke 24:7, John 1:51, John 3:13, John 3:14, John 5:27, John 6:27, John 6:53, John 6:62, John 8:28, John 12:23, John 12:34 (someone else said), John 13:31, Acts 7:56 (someone else said), Hebrews 2:6 (someone else said), Revelation 1:13 (someone else said), Revelation 14:14 (someone else said)
Some Other "Son" References (not exhaustive)
Matthew 7:9, Matthew 9:2, Matthew 11:27, Mark 13:32, Mark 15:39, Luke 7:12, Luke 9:38, Luke 10:22, John 1:18, Acts 13:21, Acts 13:22, Ephesians 4:13, 2 Thessalonians 2:3
What other book uses so many references to Son of man?
Hint 1: Hmmm think temple!
Hint 2: Fasten Upon El
Hint 3: It’s ALL ABOUT eschatology. Hint 4 Ezekiel!
107 times the phrase Son of Man appears in the Old Testament, of which 93 times in Ezekiel alone. This is likely a significant prophetic cross-reference in Ezekiel to the Temple and Messiah. All the Ezekiel references are YHWH Elohim speaking to Ezekiel calling him Son of Man.
Here are my favorite Jesus Self-Titled Son of man verses !
For the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath day (Luke 6.5)
(Matthew 16.13) Who do men say that I the Son of man am? (Mat 16:14 KJV) And they said, Some [say that you are] John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. (Mat 16:15 KJV) He says unto them, But whom say you that I am? (Mat 16:16 KJV) And Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. (Mat 16:17 KJV) And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed are you, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood has not revealed [it] unto you, but my Father which is in heaven. (Mat 16:18 KJV) And I say also unto you, That you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. (Mat 16:19 KJV) And I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Has God the Father revealed to you that Jesus is His Christ and NOT the Creator God, or are you still deceived? Jesus is the Head of the New Creation under God the Father.
In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in your sight (Luke 10:21).
But God has revealed unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God (1 Corinthians 2:10).
Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit (Ephesians 3:5).
If you don’t work hard to understand the word in Truth & Spirit, you won’t be able to explain what seems like a contradiction: Galatians 3.20, Ephesians 4.6, 1 Timothy 2.5. The key words are between and mediator.
But to us there is but ONE God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him (1 Corinthians 8.6).
definitely not co-equal
Q: Where is the Holy Spirit?
A: The Father, then Jesus 2 Corinthians 3.17, then True Believers Partake “in the image” 3.18 (partaking in the divine nature of God thru the Lord Jesus Christ 2 Peter 1.4).
definitely not co-equal
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time (1Timothy 2.6-7).
definitely not co-equal; see Numbers 23.19 again
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all (1 Corinthians 15).
definitely certainly absolutely 100% not co-equal
Trinity = Word Magick
Sorry Pastor. You cannot claim THE WORD says by indirect means something that is the opposite of what THE WORD states by direct means. If you do say so, and live by it, then you’re swimming in your own tradition; Man’s Tradition! Don’t lie on THE WORD(s) of YHWH Elohim anymore please.

God is a Mono-Thesist and So is Jesus Christ
As far as the Mystery, and what is proposed by the Promoters of the Trinity, consider what THE MYSTERY is: Mark 4:11, Romans 11:25, Romans 16:25, 1 Corinthians 2:7, 1 Corinthians 15:51, Ephesians 1:9, Ephesians 3:3-4, 9, Ephesians 5:32, Ephesians 6:19, Colossians 1:26-27, Colossians 2:2, Colossians 4:3, 2 Thessalonians 2:7, 1 Timothy 3:9, 16, Revelation 1:20, Revelation 10:7, Revelation 17:5, 7.
Seriously Look at THE MYSTERY hiding in plain sight! It’s not a mystery.
Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began (Romans 16:25).
And to make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world has been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly [places] might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him (Ephesians 3.9-12).
[Even] the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints (Colossians 1:26).
To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1.27).
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God* [He] was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory (1 Timothy 3.16). Read up on textual corruption of this verse, and see modern translations.
One last thought if you made it this far: The requirement for salvation according to the Bible is John 3.16ish! God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him (Jesus) shall have everlasting life. There is no mention of the Trinity belief as a requirement for salvation. He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Q: Where is the Holy Spirit now? A: In the Father…in Christ…in You through Christ
Please combine this with “being made perfect, Jesus became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him” (Hebrews 5.9).
Now you will more likely understand the LOVE ME COMMANDMENTS phrases in Exodus 20.6, Deuteronomy 5.10, John 14.15, John 14.21!
Repent for the kingdom of God is at Hand!
One of the Things that is Getting in the Way of Proper Interpretation of the Scripture is Scholasticism!
The world of Theologians and Scholars love and worship something they call hermeneutics. Without getting into the scholarly confusion of all of the different forms of this, we will just say for this insight that hermeneutics is an over-used word for the idea of “How to Interpret”. The scholars puff themselves up concerning their specialized abilities to interpret the Scripture. However, the Scripture often shows the scholars to be in abject error.
A straight example of this is isolated in the word hermeneutics. The word in the Bible is hermēneúō, and hermeneutics is a Latinization. Hermes is a herald to the gods, related to mercury; literally “the god of language” in this sense. There is much more to this, but for simplicity sake, the word used in Scripture has to do with translation of specific words. For example, by interpretation Cephas, or Kēphas, that is Peter, means a stone (John 1.42). That’s it! There is no fancy method or scholastic process that one must follow to genius-out the meaning of the text. The only other thing you might do is go to the root of the matter concerning Kēphas to find out it means to bow down. To drive the point home, it was Peter who gave proper interpretation of who Jesus Christ is that made Jesus say “Upon this rock I will build my church”. That rock was the truth Peter spoke when he said “You are the messiah the son of the living God” (Matthew 16.15-18). This is a definition in a straight translation of Jesus name (YHWH Saves). The rock is truth, and the cornerstone that God the Father laid (Isaiah 28.16, 1 Peter 2.6).
What the Pesher? Exegesis or Exit-Jesus? Eisegesis or Ice-our-Jesus?
Now there are many fancy versions (or terms) of hermeneutics. One of these methods is called Pesher, which produces the Pesharim, which is really mostly just a group of interpretive commentaries of the Scripture. Pesharim is simply plural for pesher/peshar. It is popular in some circles, so much so, that it is even worshipped as “the way” to interpret. Another use of the term pesher in the Hermeneutics Industry is applying the idea of a Pesher Interpretation to prophecy. For example, every prophecy has 3 repetitions or occurrences: past, present, and future. But really all they are doing is applying “their term” to something that does sometimes take place in the Scripture. This is prideful and takes the focus off God and the true meaning of the text.
For example, one who is all self-exalting, having people believe that he is somehow an expert beyond experts, and holds the special key to interpretation, would say something like: “We understand them as the midrashic pesher interpretations”. A person like this is so full of themselves that they will revile others saying things like “He pretends to be scholarly in theological matters but cannot even read the original biblical languages” and/or say something like “The same voice who[that] rejects Midrash in Bible Scholarship draws on an early Christian Midrashic expository in support of his eschatological views”. In layman’s terms this is Unclean Hogwash!
If you don’t know exactly what I am referencing here, don’t even worry about it. Just know that if you run into one of these people, don’t take them seriously, other than understanding they have serious interpretation issues.
Instead just let Scripture Interpret Scripture.
Here is the perfect example of exactly how to do this.
So What is the Real Pesher?
There is a Hebrew word used in the Bible that means interpret, and is transliterated as pesher.
pêsher, pay'-sher פֵּשֶׁר;—interpretation. This word is used ONE TIME in Ecclesiastes 8:1.
The absolute incredibly perfect irony is that pesher in context in Ecclesiastes is something only God can know! The whole passage is highly interesting to this specific subject matter, "Who is as the wise man? and who knows the interpretation [pesher] of a thing? a man's wisdom makes his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed" (Ecclesiastes 8.1)…
….Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labor to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea further; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it (Ecclesiastes 8.17)
That’s brilliant. The first verse is a Classic Scripture Question meant to make one think, and the last to know that only God knows. Similarly, great examples of this rhetorical type questioning are all over the book of Job.
The questions are rhetorical for man, as God either gives the answer in the text, or lets man know man does not know, simply by asking the question: “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if you have understanding. Who has laid the measures thereof, if you know? or who has stretched the line upon it?” Job 38 is full of these questions related to God’s Real Estate.
Only Elohim YHWH knows the pesher, and the Scripture tells us this directly in several ways.
Now this Hebrew word פֵּשֶׁר pêsher, pay'-sher;—interpretation, that is used in Ecclesiastes 8.1, has a corresponding word in Aramaic which is פְּשַׁר pᵉshar, pesh-ar'; (Aramaic); and means “an interpretation”, or interpretation. We make a special note here that this word is exclusive to the Book of Daniel only thirty-one times. And the word is exclusive to interpreting dreams related to Nebuchadnezzar, and the writing on the wall concerning Belteshazzar. All the wise men of Babylon could not interpret the dreams, or the writing on the wall, save Daniel (Dan El), which means literally “God Judges”. It is only the obedient Dan-El who can interpret that which is mysterious to all other men, and the interpretation comes from God, not some man-o-centric-ego-man-i-ac!
Proceeding further into this understanding, we have another word that corresponds to the above, that is פְּשַׁר pᵉshar, pesh-ar'; (Aramaic) to interpret:—make (interpretations), or interpreting. This word is also exclusive to Dan-El in reference again to Belteshazzar.
Mother Pesher of Pearls, Look at that Wisdom!
Again, only the one that was made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers, who had an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in Dan-El. This is because of Dan-El’s obedience. He emptied himself so that God could work and speak through him.
Additionally, the aforementioned word has a corresponding word that is פָּתַר pâthar, paw-thar'; a primitive root; to open up, i.e. (figuratively) interpret (a dream). Now this word is used exclusively in the Book of Genesis, nine times in chapters 40 and 41. This is where Pharaoh has had a dream, and Joseph, who is also a foreshadowing of the Son of the Living God to come, is called upon, because no man in Egypt can interpret Pharaoh’s dream.
This is all very simple: The radically obvious context of “pesher” in the Scripture is related specifically to Kings and Pharaohs having dreams that no man can interpret. The end result is the Chief Man of God, who is also a foreshadowing of Christ, is called upon to interpret the dream by means of being the mouth of God. Yôwçêph (Joseph) means Yahh has Added; Maybe Literal YAHH-CEPH(ER)!? Future tense of Yahh has written. So anyone that comes to you and professes he is the pesher expert, who does not tell you the very words of God, is a self-professed Anti-Godatarian (sic), especially as it relates to the Scripture.
They Neuter the God of Language with their Hermeneutics
The insistence on using Midrash Pesher Interpretations is like shameless salespeople that adhere to some mannerism or trick that is somehow supposed to make them more special than the other guy, thereby inducing the buyer to buy, instead of just using a straight forward honest approach:
Just Quote the Scripture!
Think of it like this: Their interpretation of the word interpretation is a foul interpretation, so how could their further interpretations be of any sound interpretation? All the while they proclaim Sola Scriptura, simultaneously stripping the Scripture of the rich perfection that already resides within, or adding to it, layers upon layers of blinding and binding nonsense.
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God (Matthew 4.4, Luke 4.4) Jesus Christ. Anything else beside the straight forward Words of YHWH is Kabbalistic Allegorical Nonsense. Surely the Scripture repeats core prophetic themes, but not so a Man can fancy himself the title of Language Hero! So much ado about nothing is vanity, and to vanity we must say adieu.
So what about the Midrash?
Scripture holds closely to a very specific context of Midrash.
2 Chronicles 13:22 “And the rest of the acts of Abijah, and his ways, and his sayings, are written in the Midrash of the prophet Iddo.” The application is one in which the reader of the text is directed to something written about Abijah by the Prophet Iddo. It’s just a written record. This is very common phraseology (rest of the acts…written) in Kings and Chronicles, used 45 times as a closing statement. But the word Midrash is only used twice in all of Scripture, whereas the most common word used is kathab (record). As for the Prophet Iddo, he did not make it into Scripture.
Apparently we can’t even find the Midrash of the Prophet Iddo. For me personally, I pay attention to the weightier matter of the passage like the Spiritual Understanding of the Covenant of the Salt (Leviticus 2:13; Numbers 18:19; Ezekiel 43:24; Mark 9:49,50) and the Divided Kingdoms of Judah vs. Israel, and the Slaying of 500,000 men of Israel by the hand of the King of Judah; Abijah, because Jeroboam worships the false gods of Asherah (Astarte), but afterwards, “he (Abijam/Abijah) walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him; his heart was not loyal to the LORD his God, as was the heart of his father David” (1 Kings 15:3).
2 Chronicles 24:27 “Now concerning his sons, and the greatness of the burdens laid upon him, and the repairing of the house of God, behold, they are written in the Midrash of the book of the kings. And Amaziah his son reigned in his stead.” The application here is the Reader is directed to the Book of Kings. Therefore, it is safe to say that we would be able to find this Midrash in the Book of Kings. If we apply TOO MUCH value to The Midrash, and turn it into a Formula, we end up metaphorically with a Circular Reference. The focus should be on the realities of things like the Asherah in verse 18 and the Wrath that came from God on Jerusalem and Judah for their trespass, and Zechariah’s stance against this in verse 20, and then they conspired against him and stoned him at the commandment of the Wayward King Joash in verse 21. Then spoke blasphemy against Yahh (the unforgiveable sin) in verse 22, and Syria came and destroyed Judah and Jerusalem and the princes and took the spoils back to Damascus in verse 23. So God used Syria to execute Judgment and against the King of Judah, where we have yet Another Conspiracy in the Bible where the servants of Joash conspired against him and slew him, naming all 5 of them in verses 25-26. Finally in verse 27 we get The Word Midrash. Therefore, it is NOT about The Midrash!
The Messianic culture will have you believe Jesus did the Midrash, instead of leaning into the simple and obvious line of reasoning that Jesus knew the Scripture and did what Scripture commanded, which is why he is called the Word of Life, forasmuch as he handled with Love the Logos Theos in true Agape of His Father, rather than twisting Father’s Words for his own gain.
מִדְרָשׁ midrâsh, mid-rawsh'; H4097 Strong’s Concordance properly, an investigation, i.e. (by
implication) a treatise or elaborate compilation:—story. FROM DARASH H1875
דָּרַשׁ dârash, daw-rash'; H1875 a primitive root; properly, to tread or frequent; usually to follow (for pursuit or search); by implication, to seek or ask; specifically to worship:— ASK OR INQUIRE OR
REQUIRE
The first time darash is used in Scripture is “Let that day be darkness; let not God regard (darash) it from above, neither let the light shine upon it” (Job 3.4). Now in Genesis 9.5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require (darash); at the hand of every beast will I require (darash) it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require (darash) the life of man. 6 Whoso sheds man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.
If you have the Wisdom of God instead of the tradition of men, then you will track the Scripture through and seek the Words of God to discover the True Midrash (story), if you will: Genesis 4.10, Genesis 9.6, Exodus 12.1-13, Leviticus 17.11, Isaiah 53.5, Mark 8.31-33, Mark 10.45, Hebrews 9.22, John 1.29, 1 John 1.7, Revelation 5.6. It’s about LIFE & BLOOD.
How do You Avoid Having Da Rash? Ba da bumps LOL (this is so much pun)
It would behoove the Midrash-Pesher Practitioners to study through the 164 uses of Darash in the Scripture, because having da rash in the middle of your interpretations is covering up the true words of God.
Here are some contextual examples of the root of midrash:
And Isaac intreated YHWH for his wife, because she was barren: and YHWH was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived. And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to enquire (darash) of YHWH. And YHWH said unto her, “Two nations are in your womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from your bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger” (Genesis 25:21-22).
Darash is also translated in Deuteronomy 18:11 in the context of one Calling Upon the dead (necromancy). And in Deuteronomy 23:21, should you make a vow to God, then he will Surely Require it of you. Saul Enquire after a familiar Spirit concerning the Witch of Endor in 1 Samuel 9:9 and David Enquired after Bathsheba in 2 Samuel 11:3 and in 2 Kings 1:2 Ahazia Enquired of Baalzebub the god of Ekron.
You see, concerning the Darash, you can either enter a Covenant to Seek Yahh like in 2 Chronicles 15:12, or you can you can turn your back on Yahh and Not Enquire of Him like in Zephaniah 1:6.
Repent You Pastors and Rabbis and Imams for the Kingdom of YHWH is at Hand!
δεσπότης despótēs, G1203 des-pot'-ace; perhaps from G1210 and πόσις pósis (a husband); an absolute ruler ("despot"):—Lord, master.
Despotes - relates only to a servant/slave and denotes absolute ownership and power over the servant.
(Luke 2:29) 29, Lord (despotes), now let your servant depart in peace, according to your word. Reading the immediate proceeding verses we determine this is Father God.
V22 YHWH is kyrios. Despotes is much more narrow and different than Kyrios G2962 which has a wider meaning, applicable to the various ranks and relations of life and not suggestive of either property or of absolutism. Also notice v23 and the phrase “the Lord’s Christ”. This phrase “God’s Christ, His Christ, or the Lord’s Christ is in Psalm 2.2, Luke 2:26, Acts 4:26, 1 Corinthians 3:23, Revelation 11:15, 12:10. These verses, along with Psalm 110.1 being the most OT verse quoted by NT authors, prove by themselves that the Trinitarian Doctrine is heresy (a sect of disunion from the Word of God).
(Acts 4:24) 24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord (despotes), you are God, which has made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is.
Here are some other “YHWH Alone Created heaven and earth” verses: 2 Kings 19.15, Nehemiah 9.6, Jeremiah 10.12, 32.17, Revelation 4.11, 10.6, 14.7). Again, this small grouping of verses also shows that most versions of modern Christian denominations are sects that steer people away from the truth of the Word of God.
The overall context and specific language of Acts 4 shows who is getting the glory: Father God.
Notice in v24 that God (the Father YHWH) is being referred to as the express creator, whereas Christ is here in this passage in context coming from this same God. Also notice v25 the 2nd Psalm is referenced which is key to differentiating between God the Father and his son and his messiah, and in again v26 the phrase “his Christ” and the word kyrios used in the same verse referring to God the Father. v27 and v30 say “Your Holy Servant Jesus”, referring Jesus serving God. And then in v31 we see the subject filled with the Holy Spirit (that’s God’s Spirit) which is what enables them to speak the Word of God (the logos theos) with boldness. v32 is interesting because they are of “one accord, in unity now, not speaking their own possession of words but God’s Words, and then v33, now they are able to give the witness of the resurrection of God’s Christ in God’s power (that’s the power of the Holy Spirit).
(1 Timothy 6:1-2) 1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters (despotes) worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed. 2 And they that have believing masters (despotes), let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
The context of Chapter 6 is the Master-Servant relationship, and clear distinction between Father God and the Lord Jesus Christ. v2 is reflecting Jude 1.8. Also notice in v1 that it says that God and his doctrine should not be blasphemed. In Matthew 12.31 Jesus said that “blasphemy of the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven”. This is one of many indications that the Holy Spirit is the Father, for God here in v1 is the despotes.
(2 Timothy 2:21) 21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use (despotes), and prepared unto every good work.
Speaking of the soldier stratologeō ß Host Speaker; 2 Timothy 2:5 Strive Lawfully; 2 Timothy 2.7 uses Kyrios and is referring to YHWH. 2.9 the logos theos is not bound; 2.14 the Lord Kyrios here is also YHWH; 2.15 study to show yourself approved unto theos Father God; 2.19 theos is Lord YHWH, and then Christ follows; 2.19 Let everyone that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity adikia adikos A-dike (legal term); v24 is YHWH; v25 is YAHOWAH; the as overall context of the chapter is proper servant to master, and theos is above christos in the passage. Psalm 66.18 say If I regard iniquity (avown/aven) in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: aven is about VANITY and IDOLATRY!
Proverbs 28.9 He that turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
(Titus 2:9) 9 Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters (despotes), and to please them well in all things; not answering again; In vs2-5 a soldier of Christ strives lawfully (hmmmm?). Notice the contrast in v8-11, wherein v9 he says the “logos theos is not bound”, whereas he contrasts himself in bonds to Christ as Christ was in bonds to Father God (all must die to themselves if they want life through Christ to God, whom Christ first died to God’s will that he might be raised from the dead). The antilogia reflects Jude v11; The context is sound doctrine and right behavior so the word of God (logos theos) is not blasphemed; sound speech that cannot be condemned (the doctrine of the trinity is condemnable by the word of the Father and the words of Jesus Christ); doulos hypotassō idios despotēs here is the servant-master relationship again in the context of exhibiting right behavior not being antilegō! The passage closes with clear differentiation between God (Father) the megas theos and our savior Jesus Christ, but before Jesus is named as the savior it is clarified that God (the Father) is the bringer of salvation: v10 God our savior, v11 God the bringer of salvation, v11-12 appeared thru Christ, v13 and now God and Savior Jesus Christ (two together, not one): Think playing it through, i.e., ONENESS in UNITY to salvation; God and Jesus are differentiated clearly in the passage. Although they are both said to be Savior, God is first and then Jesus is next, and the overall context of Scripture is that Father God is the Savior who brings Salvation, and Jesus Christ is the vessel (of appearance) who brings the redeeming acts (good works) of redemption; the Father alone performs the works, and gives Jesus the words.
(1 Peter 2:18) 18 Servants, be subject to your masters (despotes) with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the forward.
Passage context begins with laying aside poor behavior, growing first in the milk of the word; v3 Lord is YHWH, v4 God, Acceptable to God by Jesus. A key to understanding is who first does the choosing (Father God), and afterwards this power is given to Son of God by Father God. Jesus is the first acceptable, and those after chosen. The use of despotes in this passage has to do with the house-master; a master one dwells with as a servant. The Lord in v13 is YHWH-Theos clarified in vs15 16 17 19 and 20 and the doulos to despotes relationship is brought into focus using YHWH THEOS language, v21 then Christ (messiah) becomes the roll of shepherd and bishop to your souls v25, but the Father remains the head of Christ: despotes Father à doulos Jesus-Son of God à now Master Kyiros Yahowshuah (Yahushua/Yehowshuah) ha mashiach is the door which is the way to Father à whereby any man who shall be resurrected unto life shall only do so by being a doulos of the Son who was doulos to the Father. Notice souls vs spirits!
(2 Peter 2:1) 1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord (despotes) that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
The Lord (despotes) in v1 is YHWH, but most teach that it is Jesus; that YHWH is referenced is verified by Deuteronomy 32.1-12 that YHWH is doing the purchasing alone [Exodus 15.16, Psalm 74.2, Acts 20.28-29 (compare v29 in context with v28 to Jude v4), 1 Corinthians 6.20], v2 the way of truth is blasphemed v6, while the prophetic reference to Christ ring through this passage, the passage speaks first and directly of Father YHWH. You will find YHWH judging his people in the same Deut. 32 passage along with Sodom and Gomorrah—everything in Scripture is thematic, and the shadows are of great value. Jude 1.18 (even false teachers) and v4 (denying the monos despotes theos) is a cross reference to this verse: mockers! (also Jude v8 Despisers of Lordship(s) are Blasphemers of Glory) v3 unlike the Holy Father, men calling themselves His Followers will make merchandise of you, whereby you purchase from them rather than the inversion of YHWH doing the purchasing; damnation for such merchandizing is on the horizon you false teachers who peddle your books and wares, selling your plastos logos—plastic words. Again v4 is reflecting Judas 1.6 and 1.13 again YHWH is God here not sparing the angels, and again v5 reflects Judas 14 and 15 might I remind you in Noah’s day destroying all but 8, and also squares away what spirits were being preached to (as to 2 Peter 3.6) and when (after the resurrection 1 Peter 3.18), v6 reflects Jude v7, v9 reflects v14 and 15 of Judas again, v10 reflects Jude 1:4,6-8,10,16 and v9 and v11 of 2 Peter 2 are both Father YHWH, v11 reflects Judas 1.9 to Zechariah 3.2, v12 is Judas v10, v13 is Jude 12, v14 is Jude v11, v15 is also Judas 11, v17 is Judas 1.6, 12, 13, v18 is v16, v19 is in case of the whole point: “that is you are not a hyparchō doulos of Lord God and Lord, then you are in bondage (douloo – can you say duality) not overcoming, by v20 that is the knowledge of Lord kyrios and Savior Jesus, v21 again denotes that you can turn away from his commandments, followed up by Proverbs 26.11 where the dogs return to their vomit; Proverbs 26.10 references fools and transgressors.
(Jude 1:4) 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God (monos despotes theos) , and our Lord Jesus Christ.
This is a defining verse for all of Christianity: Monos Despotes Theos (Father God) kai Kyrios (Yahowshuah/Yahushua/Yehowshuah/Yahoshuwah) the anointed. For a guide to understanding this directly from Jesus’ perspective, see Matthew 23.8-10 and v10; being called Pater is reserved for The Father, and being called Rhabbi and kä-thā-gā-tā's is for the anointed, and all his followers are brothers. Pastors should pay close attention to the etymology of this particular word kathēgētēs.
For those who struggle with the controversy over whether to pay heed to the authorized version or embrace the revised version on Jude v4, there are several verses we can use within the Bible to let the Bible interpret itself. Firstly we look within Jude’s epistle and to the very last verse: To the only wise God (Monos Sophos Theos) our Savior, [be] glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen (Jude 1:25 KJV). Here we have a repeat of the Monos Theos in v25, just like v4. We should also consider Jude’s salutation, where like most all salutations of the New Testament refer to Two Parties; God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ: v1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called. Furthermore, the John makes the distinction quite clear to the extent that he who denies Jesus is the Messiah, and he who denies Father and Son is Anti-Christ (1 John 2.22-24; also 1 John 4.15, Matthew 11.27, Luke 10.22, John 5.23, John 14.10, John 15.23-24, 2 John 1.9). There is a lot to digest in just that little bit of 1 John 22-24, but the “denial” goes right along with Jude v4, where there should also be Two so as to keep consistent with the truth. That would then also make v8 of Jude most properly understood as “despising lordships and blaspheming the glory”. Either way you translate kyirotes here, lordship or lordships, you still have to rely upon the essential constitution of “the glory”. Father gave Son glory at the resurrection, and without such is there no way back to the Father, so the unity here is expressly in the Two. This is all masterfully declared by the one and only Holy Spirit (Father God) who made sure the New Testament writers quoted Psalm 110.1 more than any other verse of the Old Testament by far in the New Testament. Again we have the same Two: God and Lord, the dynamic duo of salvation in Father and Son.
We even see these Two in what’s referred to as extra-biblical texts like Enoch 48.10: And on the day of their trouble there will be rest on the earth and they will fall down in front of him and will not rise. And there will be no one who will take them with his hands and raise them for they denied the Lord of Spirits and his Anointed. The name of the Lord of Spirits be blessed. Also see Enoch 52.4, 6, 9. To close the loop on this, Jude v14 quotes Enoch 1.9. Nevertheless, we don’t need to go outside the modern accepted canon to define this reality of “between the two” as it can be found in many places prophesied: 2 Samuel 7, Zechariah 6.12-13.
(Revelation 6:10) 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord (despotes), holy and true, do you not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
And the final clincher is (drum roll please):
v1 The Lamb opening the seals (messiah at the right hand of power Psalm 110.1 visual) four beasts v2 the conquering white horse v3 opens second seal second beast v4 red horse v5 third seal third beast black horse (balances in hand) v6 a call to watch for wheat and barley and oil and wine v7 fourth seal and fourth beast v8 and behold the pale horse of death and hades v9 fifth seal and the altar of souls slain for Word of God (the logos theos) and their testimony v10 and they cried with a loud voice krazo megas phone, saying how long Despotes hagios (Revelation 19.10, the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy, who was slain for his testimony; Revelation 1.9, also see Revelation 12.11, 12.17, 1 John 5.10) v11 white robes and rest, more to be killed of their brothers v12 sixth seal and great earthquake sun black and moon blood v13 stars fall from heaven to earth (fig tree shaken is an image is indicative of heaven being a crown on top) v14 now heaven departs as a scroll and rolled together (not a picture outer space; how can space depart?) v15 and kings of earth and great men rich men and captains and mighty and every bond and free hides themselves in dens and rocks (try to imaging this being a reality given our modern understanding of the solar system) v16 they said let the mountains and the rocks fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne, hide us from the wrath of the lamb v17 for the great day of wrath has come and who shall be able to stand
